Rackless systems anchor to the subframe with a waist belt, no hardware, fastest to move between bikes. Rack systems distribute load better and survive higher weight, but you drill or bolt, and the rack stays with the bike.

The Tusk Excursion ships with Defender waterproof liners, Kriega's OS bags are drypack construction. Where a product relies on liners we say so on its row. For GB and AU riders: pair the roll-top with a tail tidy so the number plate sits clear of the tail bag straps in wet weather.
Honest answer: we stock soft, not top boxes. If you want a locked top box for a commute or a helmet, a Givi or Shad top case on a plate is the right tool and we do not carry it. For touring and off-road, the soft tail-bag route wins on weight, crash safety and price: the Nelson-Rigg Hurricane 40L and Kriega US-30 mount on the passenger seat or OEM rear rack, roll-top waterproof, no top-plate hardware.
