Kawasaki prints a rear carrier rating of 9 kg maximum in the owner's manual. Each factory saddlebag is limited to 5 kg. The 9 kg carrier limit and the 5 kg per saddlebag sit inside the 182 kg total. They are not additional to it. Kawasaki also sets a loaded speed limit of 130 km/h when carrying a passenger or cargo, which is a cap on how fast the bike should be ridden once loaded, not a top speed.
Kawasaki's own loading instruction, as printed: carry all baggage as low as possible to reduce the effect on the centre of gravity, distribute the weight equally on both sides, and avoid baggage that extends beyond the rear of the motorcycle. Kawasaki adds that a luggage rack is designed for light items and that overloading it changes weight distribution and aerodynamic forces.
