How it mounts
Static reference, one per mount type.
- Throwover straps hook to the subframe. No drilling.
- Straps go over the seat. Cinch until the bag stops moving.
- Smallest exhaust gap of the three. Heat shield matters most here.
- Watch the scuff zone on the rear plastics.
- Keep the load light and balanced side to side.

On the Yamaha Tenere 700
Mount: soft rackless. Install: moderate. Heat shield needed.
The rubberized back is NOT heat resistant and must not touch the exhaust; Enduristan sells the Inferno shield separately at 40 USD. On the T7 the exhaust exits high and rear and riders report zero melts, so the shield is often skippable with the bag mounted high, worth adding for low or forward mounting. Includes CRR breakaway strap spares; older-generation buckle slip reports.
On the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250
Mount: soft rackless. Install: easy. Heat shield needed.
Vendor states the outer surface is not heat resistant and must not touch the exhaust (Inferno shield recommended). PanAm muffler sits low on the RIGHT; no PanAm-specific owner report found.
On the Honda CRF300L / CRF300L Rally
Mount: soft rackless. Install: easy. Heat shield needed.
Enduristan states the rubberized surface is not heat resistant and must not be placed directly against the exhaust; the Inferno shield is sold separately at 40 USD. Rally owners actively ask whether the Rally right muffler is too hot for Blizzards (German CRF-Fahrer forum) and no confirmed melt was found. Long-term test: the only real failure mode is loose straps letting a bag sag into the rear tire, re-check strap tension.
On the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450
Mount: soft rackless. Install: easy. Heat shield needed.
Enduristan states the rubberized surface is not heat resistant and must not be placed directly against the exhaust; the Inferno shield is sold separately at 40 USD. Counter-evidence, editorial and not manufacturer: ADV Pulse tested Blizzards on a Himalayan and found the built-in side padding insulated well enough without a separate shield. Straps loosen over time and need re-checking, no strap redundancy. Blizzard 2 adds the CRR 200 kg breakaway and optional Anchor-Lock kit.
