What we collect

Setup saves and feedback you choose to submit: an email address, the setup you saved (bike, product, mount type), and any free-text notes you add. Submitting is always optional.

Campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) when you arrive from a link that carries them, kept for the browser session and stored with a submission if you make one.

Anonymous product analytics via a third party analytics service, hosted in the EU: page views and product events, for example which fitment results are viewed. We also use session replay to understand how the site is used: recordings capture page interactions, with typed text masked. No autocapture, no advertising trackers. There are no ads on this site.

Cookies and storage

An analytics identifier is stored in your browser (localStorage and a cookie) so events count consistently. UTM parameters sit in sessionStorage until the tab closes.

How we use data

Emails are used for the thing you asked for: telling you if fitment changes for a setup you saved. Feedback text is used to correct and deepen the fitment data. No spam, no selling or renting the list.

Photos you email us are optional. If you send one, you're giving us permission to publish and edit it on the site.

Affiliate links

Retailer links on this site may be or become affiliate links. As an affiliate we may earn from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. Retailer links are marked with rel="sponsored", and earning a commission never changes a fitment verdict.

Where data lives

Submissions are stored in our database. Analytics events are processed by a third party analytics service, hosted in the EU.

Your choices

Ask us to delete your email, saved setups, or a photo you sent at any time by emailing hello@advfitment.com, including the address you want removed.

Changes

As the site grows (for example if affiliate programs or new analytics are added) this page will be updated and the effective date above will change.
