How it mounts

Static reference, one per mount type.

soft rackless
Rackless mount on an adventure bike, schematicThrowover straps go over the seat, the soft bag hangs beside the rear wheel. The exhaust gap is the smallest of the three mounts, so the heat shield rule matters most here. Watch the scuff zone on the side panel.SCHEMATIC, NOT TO SCALE
  1. Throwover straps hook to the subframe. No drilling.
  2. Straps go over the seat. Cinch until the bag stops moving.
  3. Smallest exhaust gap of the three. Heat shield matters most here.
  4. Watch the scuff zone on the rear plastics.
  5. Keep the load light and balanced side to side.

On the Kawasaki KLR 650

Mount: soft rackless. Install: easy. Heat shield included.

KLR fitment listed at RMATV/eBay; Amazon carries the universal variant. Straps need re-tightening after the first rough trail; large aftermarket taillights may need relocation.

On the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450

Mount: soft rackless. Install: moderate. Heat shield included.

Standard heat shield and exhaust clamp included. Confirmed fitments in reviews are WR250R/F, KLX250, CRF300L, KTM/Husky; no Himalayan 450 confirmation or owner report found. Initial assembly is fiddly, attachment afterwards straightforward.
